About DISCONTINUED Tarheel CH-1 Capacitance Hat
The Capacitance Hat is designed to help in two ways.
First, you can use the capacitance hat with a whip as short as 30" and get the same frequency coverage as the 6' whip without sacrificing performance.
Second, you can add the 6' whip to the top of the capacitance hat and get a big improvement in performance on the lower bands.
The base of the capacitance hat is 12" tall with standard 3/8 x 24 thread at both ends. It uses 8 stainless steel rods 12" long each at 90 degrees to the antenna for maximum capacitance with less weight
DELIVERY
We aim to dispatch all parcels within 24hrs. We are normally able to dispatch parcels SAME DAY where orders are received before 2.00pm Monday to Friday.
Whilst we try our best to ship same day, we cannot guarantee delivery time. You will however receive tracking details as soon as your order has been processed.
Please note that we do not process orders over the weekend, so orders placed after 2pm on Friday will not ship until Monday.
Please allow an extra processing day for international orders to enable us to complete export/import custom clearance declarations.
